PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of performing printing in a toner saving mode interlocked with intensive printing even in the case of performing the intensive printing and forming a printed image excellent in visibility at low cost. SOLUTION: When the device receives the designation of a condition on the intensive printing for printing the printing data of two pages on one page of paper and the printing data of plural pages, a program ROM 104 develops the printing data in the image data area of one page by using the memory area of a RAM 106 so as to perform plotting processing (S201). When the setting of a command shows the intensive printing in such a way (S203; Y), the printing in the toner saving mode in which the printing is performed with low density by lowering developing bias and reducing the adhesive amount of toner is set to an engine part 108 from an engine I/F 107 (S205) and video-output is performed. Thus, the printing in the toner saving mode is performed interlocked with the intensive printing. |
