PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial eye remote-control manufacturing system by an image transmitted by the Internet which can manufacture an artificial eye fitting a person who wants to wear an artificial eye even though the person who wants to wear an artificial eye can not meet with an ocularist. SOLUTION: The person 10 who wants to wear an artificial eye photographs a required cut of a photograph such as a facial photograph 18 of the person 10 wearing the currently used artificial eye 14 with a digital camera 16. The image of the photograph stored in the digital camera 16 is transmitted to an artificial eye manufacturing company 34 through the Internet 32. Thus, the ocularist of the company 34 can manufacture an artificial eye by looking at the screen of a personal computer 36 connected to the Internet 32 and can thereby manufacture a new artificial eye as if the ocularist would meet with the person 10.
