PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for medical treatment management, which can prevent medical malpractices such as a patient mix-up and a miss prescription from happening by confirming the relationship between medical practices and medical practitioners such as doctors and their patients when the medical practitioners practice a medical treatment for the patients at a medical institution like a hospital. SOLUTION: In the system and method for medical treatment management in the present invention the medical practitioners and their patients are confirmed by collating them with data stored in a database using each identification when the practitioners practice the medical treatment. They also, at the same time, confirm the practices (medical treatment, prescriptions) by collating them with the data stored in the database. The practitioners can appropriately and accurately practice the medical treatment for the patients on the basis of the confirmation. Furthermore, the identification of practitioners and patients can be accurately done by using a biometrics device. |
