PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk turning driving device capable of easily mounting and removing a disk on/from a table by using a self-chucking method that does not have a clamper. SOLUTION: When the turning of theα1 direction is given to the driving shaft M1 of a turning driving means while a disk is mounted on the table 2, a rotator 6 that engages with the internal gear rack 3c of a driver 3 is made to rotate in theβ1 direction, and holding members 6b are made to project from the driver 3 and come to their holding positions to hold the disk. When the fast turning of theα2 direction is given to the driving shaft M1, the disk holding can be released because the holding members 6b are made to move to their retreat positions for retreating to the inside of driver 3. The disk is easily mounted and removed because the disk can be held and released only by giving the turning of theα1 orα2 direction to the driving shaft M1.
