PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of efficiently and separately recovering an upper-layer liquid from blood through the use of a plurality of separating tubes. SOLUTION: An upper casing provided with a blood supply tube 14, an upper- layer liquid recovering tube 15, and a cell component/wash liquid discharge tube 16 and a lower casing 20 provided with the U-shaped separating tubes 30 are each driven to rotate by a motor M. The index operation of the upper casing 10 to the lower casing 20 is performed by a transmission V. At the separation of blood by the separating tubes 30, the recovery of the upper-layer liquid from the separating tubes 30, and the washing and drying of the separating tubes 30, the tubes 14-16 of the upper casing 10 are each connected to a liquid pool 31, an upper-layer liquid suction tube 25, a conduit 33a for discharge of the separating tube 30. At the washing of only the tubes 14 and 15, they are connected to a washing liquid pool 40 provided for the lower casing 20, and the pool 40 is connected to the discharge tube 16.
