PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the life of a device for a long time even if the device is used under the circumstances wherein a chemical such as a synthetic machining coolant of a soluble type containing much of an amine-group additive and the like, which carries high chemical resistance, is splashed over. SOLUTION: In a linear guide device comprising a slider 2, a guide rail 1 opposing the slider 2 via a gap, a plurality of rolling bodies arranged between the slider 2 and the material of the guide rail 1 so as to be capable of freely rolling and for axially and relatively moving the slider 2 with respect to the guide rail 1, and a contact sealing device 12 for sealing the opening of the gap, the contact sealing device 12 is made of a composition of a rubber material containing fluorine rubber and having either one of copolymers of a ternary copolymer of vinylidene fluoride-tetrafluoroethylene-propylene and a binary copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene-propylene as a basic structure.
