PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle monitor device that can properly and impartially identify a vehicle of a warning object. SOLUTION: A controller 6 identifies a model of a vehicle 11A depending on a classification number of a number plate of the vehicle 11A photographed by a number plate recognizing camera 5A. The controller 6 reads a threshold value of a sound volume preset in response to the model of the vehicle 11A so as to discriminate whether or not the vehicle 11A is driven while emitting a sound with the sound volume of the threshold value or over. When the controller 6 discriminates that the vehicle 11A is driven while emitting the sound with the sound volume of the threshold value or over, an electric bulletin board 7A displays warning information.
