PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new adhesive spacer for a liquid crystal display panel, having proper dispersibility in an electrode substrate, which realizes improvement in the picture quality and reduction of factors for decreasing the picture quality by having both of superior adhesion and an effect to suppress leaking light in a large screen TFT-LCD, particularly a 15-inch or larger screen, and to provide a liquid crystal display panel which uses the spacer. SOLUTION: The adhesive spacer for a liquid crystal display panel is prepared by coating at least a part of surfaces of particles having oxazoline groups with a thermoplastic resin.
