PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for evaluating the mounting cost of a circuit board which enables a designer to reflect manufacture costs on circuit board designing and lower the mounting cost by precisely finding the manufacture costs while taking the productivity in the circuit board designing stage into consideration. SOLUTION: Design data on the circuit board are inputted to a data input part 1. A material cost calculation part 3 calculates material costs according to design data by referring to a component DB(database) 4 stored with component information and a substrate DB 5 stored with substrate information. A manufacture cost calculation part 6 calculates the manufacture costs according to the design data by referring to the component DB 4, a line constitution DB 7 stored with constitution information of the manufacture line, a mounting condition DB 8 stored with facility condition information in mounting, and a manufacture cost DB 9 stored with cost information necessary for circuit board manufacture. A result output part 10 finds the result of the mounting cost, etc., on the basis of the material costs and manufacture costs and feeds them back to the designer. |
