PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the waste of a fuel gas overproduced upon a sudden decrease of power output and resulting degradation of the system efficiency in a fuel battery system, in which a fuel vapor is supplied to a reforming reactor 3 using an evaporator 2. SOLUTION: Upon the sudden decrease of power output, a cutoff valve 11 on a vapor passage 10 is closed, the vapor passage connecting the evaporator 2 to the reforming reactor 3. The closing of the valve leads to the pressure rise in the evaporator 2, from which the vapor is guided into a condenser 5 following the opening of a control valve 3, transformed into a coolant in the condenser 5, and is finally reclaimed in a tank 6. |
