PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of improving measurement accuracy of a turbidimetqr or a particle counter in measurement of turbidity of liquid or particles. SOLUTION: This inspection method of the liquid is characterized by bringing the liquid into contact with one side of a hollow fiber membrane having gas permeability, pressure-reducing the other side of the hollow fiber membrane, to thereby execute defoaming and/or deaeration of the liquid, and then introducing the liquid into the turbidimeter or the particle counter, to measure the turbidity or to count the particles.
