<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently rearrange electronic mail accumulated in a mailbox. SOLUTION: This equipment has an electronic mail rearrangement control means 1 which performs notice operation for indicating the rearrangement of electronic mail to a user periodically when the user previously sets cycles for rearranging electronic mail, the mailbox 2 which stores the electronic mail, a timer 3 which monitors the cycles that the user sets, and a display part 4 which displays various data. To prompt the user to rearrange the electronic mail, a rearrangement picture display means 8 displays a mail rearrangement dialog at the display part 4 and a notice sound generating means (or vibration generating means) 9 generates an alarm sound or vibration. When the rearrangement mode of electronic mail is entered by user's operation, an electronic mail list for rearrangement is displayed at the display part 4. This electronic mail list for rearrangement contains electronic mail which is newly saved in the mailbox 2 after the last electronic mail rearranging operation and electronic mail which were not rearranged in the last electronic mail rearranging operation.</p> |
