<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bright, slim-shaped circular fluorescent lamp as well as improve the ratio between light output and input power at a lighting apparatus raising lamp ambient temperature. SOLUTION: The circular fluorescent lamp with 13-20 mm tube diameter is designed so that its light output is maximized at nearly 35-39 deg.C relating to ambient temperature in 57 W of lamp power by heightening one electrode 3b of the fluorescent lamp higher than the other electrode and also providing a sleeve 100 with slits 17/17a for cooling, under the condition that circular outer diameter is set to 435-460 mm to be lighted at 60 W or less of lamp power and 10 kHz or more of high frequency.</p> |
