METHOD OF REGULATING PICKUP GUIDE SHAFT OF OPTICAL DISK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of regulating the angle of two guide shafts arranged in parallel in moving a pickup in such a manner that even an optical disk having warpage to some extent of an optical disk device using the optical disk for a recording medium is well subjected to recording and/or reproducing of data. SOLUTION: The supporting height on the outer peripheral side of the guide shaft is so regulated that the focus voltage on the outer peripheral side of the optical disk is made equal to the focus voltage on the inner peripheral side when the distance between the pickup and the optical disk is at a prescribed value and the supporting height of the respective guide shafts is so regulated as to minimize the jitters of regenerative signals on the basis thereof, by which the angle of the pickup is regulated.
