PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a call recording system, with which the contents of a call received by a telephone answering service operator can be automatically stored in a computer owned by a callee even when the operator does not know the function (such as presence/absence of call recording function) of a private branch telephone set receiving a terminated call. SOLUTION: A call recording application is downloaded from a server by a computer, the execution of a telephone answering service is judged by monitoring a connection notice inside a group after requesting the notice of an incoming call to a prescribed private telephone set from the downloaded call recording application to an exchange, and call recording data showing the contents of a call by means of the telephone answering service are stored inside the present computer by requesting the synthesis of an audio channel to the exchange. Thus, even when a user who does not introduce the call recording system, performs the telephone answering service, only by executing a call, the call can be recorded and the call recording data can be stored.
