PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat an optional amount of food efficiently by utilizing the bias of an electric field in a heating chamber. SOLUTION: In a microwave oven, a screen showing a heating chamber 27, a turntable 3, and a magnetron 25 typically is displayed. On this screen, objects to be heated 30A to 30C are shown on the turntable 3. The locations of the objects to be heated 30A to 30C are the locations where the intensity of an electric field is regarded high in the heating chamber 27 as a result of a simulation. That is to say, the location where a food is efficiently heated according to the number of the foods in the microwave oven is displayed. In the case when the numbers of foods are '1', '2' and '3', the images including the objects to be heated 30A, 30B and 30C, respectively, are displayed.
