PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Lundell-type rotating electric machine having a magnetic rotation angle detector which enables detection of a high-precision rotation angle. SOLUTION: A rotation angle indicating permanent magnet 103 is fixed to the tip part of a shaft 4 to be fitted into a Lundell-type rotor core which is magnetized by field coils, and a Hall element 102 is arranged facing the permanent magnet 103 in the axial direction. The Hall element detects a rotation angle by the change in the magnetic field of the permanent magnet 103. On both sides in the axial directions of the Hall element 102 and the permanent magnet 103, a first magnetic by-pass member 104 and a second magnetic by-pass member 105 are arranged. Leakage magnetic flux, having leaked to the tip part of the shaft 4, passes the by-pass members 104, 105, flows into the radial outside, and returns to the stator core. |
