<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selling commodities in electronic commerce which achieves an auction system with high security capable of satisfying an exhibitor, and also which can effectively utilize the resources of an electronic commerce system. SOLUTION: In the method for selling commodities in electronic commerce, a plurality of user terminals 2a to 2c and an auction server 3 are interconnected through a communication line 1, and there is provided an auction function wherein the commodities are exhibited through a user terminal and also a bid is made about the exhibited commodities. The commodities being exhibited to the auction server and business terms thereof and bid criteria information for bidders are transmitted from the exhibitor. The auction server sets a bid allowable condition on the basis of the bid criteria information transmitted from the exhibitor, and automatically rejects the bid from the bidder who does not satisfy the bid allowable condition. In this arrangement, the auction system with high security can be established, thereby achieving effective utilization of the system resources.</p> |
