PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device outputting an image onto large size paper when only the paper having larger size than necessary paper size exists on a tray. SOLUTION: When a printer 100 receives printing data from a host device (S20), the paper size B of the paper A set in a paper feeding tray 110 is detected by a paper size detection sensor 107 (S21). If the paper size C designated in the printing data is the same as the paper size B (S22; Y), the printing data is printed on the paper A (S23). Meanwhile, if the paper size B is smaller than the paper size C (S24; Y), the printing data is divided to such size that it can be printed on the paper A (S25), and the printing data divided to the paper A and adhesive information such as a line to cut off and a tab for sticking to perform processing to the paper size C are printed (S26). |
