PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant coated wire with the coat layer made of thermosetting polyimide which can be easily formed into a required thickness and can be easily stripped off. SOLUTION: The thermosetting polyimide powder 34 and the varnish consisting polyamic acid solution are put into a mixer and kneaded to make a coating material. The wire is coated with this coating material using an extruder, and calcined. The heat-resistant coated wire 3 having the thermo-set polyimide coating layer 30 of a required thickness can be easily fabricated only by extruding and molding the coating material made by kneading the thermosetting polyimide powder 34 and the varnish 32. Furthermore, as the varnish 32 and the wire 30 contact in a small area, the coating layer 30 can be easily stripped off. |
