PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system for distributing commodities which enables users not to miss sales opportunity as much as possible. SOLUTION: The management system for distributing commodities installs a purchase order system 106 within a distribution management center 10, which provides intermediate services between a requesting agent and a requested agent for commodity purchasing. The management system installs a modification system 104 that modifies a distribution plan generated on the basis of inventory and sales data of each store within a distribution planning system 102. The modification system 104 modifies the distribution plan so that the inventory probability level for the commodities specified to purchase is high enough for the store the requested agent plans to visit and at the time when the agent visits the store.
