PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital image communication system, where a procedure for a user processing a digital image to access a server storing the digital image can be simplified while preventing illegal access to the server from other users and to provide the server and a terminal. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of an access request to a home server 100 about its digital image from any of a farther PC 210, a brother PC 220, a family TV 310 and an elder sister TV 320, the home server 100 refers to a browsing limit information table 140 on the basis of a device ID and browsing information that are transmitted together with the access request at the same time to discriminate whether or not the access to the digital image stored in an image storage section 120 is to be limited on the basis of browsing limit information described in the browsing limit information table 140 and the home server 100 permits the access when the discrimination indicates no limit.
