PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device which is provided with a simple circuit configuration and with which flat light emission is feasible, and that is made small-sized and made light in weight. SOLUTION: A power source 10, in which the part of a boosting circuit, is used in common by the charge circuit 1 of an electrical discharge capacitor 3 and the trigger circuit 2 of an electrical discharge tube 4 and also that is used in common for charge and trigger, an oscillation circuit 11 and a drive circuit 12 are also used in common by the switching control of an IGBT element 20 for the flat light emission. An IGBT drive signal ruling the switching control is changed by adjusting either of the continuation time of an oscillation signal outputted by the oscillation circuit 11, frequency or a duty ratio as an intermittent oscillation signal for the light emission state of the discharge tube 4. |
