PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device which enables controllers to control a control object device from plural points in parallel. SOLUTION: The transmission device is provided with a first reception means 111 which receives data from a first line 1, a second reception means 121 which receives data from a second line 2, a line interface 101 which transmits and receives data from and to a trunk line, a first transmission means 112 which transmits data to the second line, a first collision detection means 113 which detects whether data exists on the second line or not, a first transmission control means 114 which controls whether data should be transmitted to the second line or not, a second transmission means 122 which transmits data to the first line 1, a second collision detection means 123 which detects whether data exists on the first line or not, and a second transmission control means 124 which controls whether data should be transmitted to the first line or not.
