摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that can ensure sufficient throughput even when a maximum number of available channels is increased by revising an operating channel during communication through the transmission reception of notice information of a minimum data quantity even when a maximum number of available channels is '3' or over. SOLUTION: A control section 13 decides whether or not number of available channels can be increased depending on whether or not number of available channels of its own station is greater than a number of channels used at present. The control section 13 informs a communication opposite terminal about the propriety of increase in the channels decided above by transmitting an increase propriety bit to the opposite terminal. The control section 13 decides whether or not the communication opposite terminal can increase number of operating channels on the basis of the increase propriety bit transmitted from the communication opposite terminal. Then the control section 13 starts a re-synchronization procedure to increase the operating channel by one when both its own terminal and the communication opposite terminal can increase number of available channels.
