PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new broadcast program guiding technology to guide user's desired broadcast programs to the users. SOLUTION: The history information of broadcast programs viewed by users is obtained, and taste information expressed in numerical values is prepared from the obtained attribute information of the broadcast programs for each user, and the taste information similar to taste information indicated by users at a service request issue origin is retrieved. Then, a plurality of users whose tastes in the broadcast programs are similar to those of the users at the service request issue origin are retrieved, and the identification of the broadcast programs viewed by those users is extracted, and the broadcast programs whose attribute information is similar to the extracted attribute information of the broadcast programs are retrieved from among the broadcast programs to be broadcast, and the retrieved identification information of the broadcast programs is presented to the users at the service request issue origin. Thus, it is possible for the users to acquire their desired broadcast programs without performing any operation.
