PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb arbitrary vibration during tests in space with regard to the vibration absorbing system of a rotary testing apparatus. SOLUTION: Four pieces of supporting structures 11 to 14 (X-direction) located in surroundings of a rotary body 10 in a radial pattern are respectively connected with testing boxes 70 to 73, and the boxes are supported therein. Tested objects are put in the boxes 70 to 73, and testing is performed while rotating the boxes. Acceleration of other than rotation generated in a three dimensional direction of each box is detected by acceleration sensors 23 to 26 located at the upper side of the testing box, and is then input to a control unit that is omitted in the figure. The control unit selects pipes corresponding to generated vibration, and a counterbalance 1 located inside the pipe is then moved to a reverse direction against the direction of vibration by means of a motor 5, and the vibration is eventually absorbed.
