PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a rise time for a siphon device while securing safety during removing the siphon device mounted between molten metal tanks. SOLUTION: A molten metal inlet 11 is provided at the upper part of a siphon tube 3 and a closing cap 15 is prepared therefor. Each of opening portions 22, 24 at both ends is immersed in a preset amount of molten metal held by a container and then sealed after the molten metal is solidified in this state. The siphon device 1 is mounted between the molten metal tanks for injecting the molten metal from the molten metal inlet 11 before melting the solidified metal in the opening portions 22, 24, and the inlet 11 is closed with the closing cap 15. Then, the solidified metal is melted to form a siphon.
