Precipitated thickening silica granules comprises a mixture of silicas (a) and (b) of average diameter at least 100 (120-650) microns, cohesion factor at least 0.3 (0.4-1), DOP at least 230 (290) ml/100 g and D50 at least 14 (14-30) microns are obtained by wet granulation and contain water at 25-40 (30-35) wt.% and a weight ratio of (a)/(b) of 1.5-6 (2-3.5).
