<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in assembling work by providing a reinforced rib in which the rib protects a pin-side installing portion from falling toward an inner periphery side when installing protecting boots. SOLUTION: The protecting boot 11 comprises bellows portion 12, a guide- hole side installing portion 13, a connecting portion 14, a pin-side installing portion 15, and each reinforced rib 16. The installing portions 13 and 15 are fitted into boot installing grooves 5 and 7 of an installing member 1 and a sliding pin 6, respectively. The each reinforced rib 16 is arranged in a peripheral direction at certain intervals. During assembling work of the protecting boot 11, the ribs protect the pin-side installing portion 15 from falling toward the inner periphery side of the connecting portion 14 by means of friction resistance with a guide chamfer portion 6c of the sliding pin 6. Consequently, assembling work of the protecting boot can be effectively performed.</p> |
