<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle information terminal which reduces the load in driving by suppressing excessive providing of information. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle information terminal is provided with a function 16 of acquiring own-vehicle-position information, a function 15 of guiding and displays an advance route, on the basis of route information obtained by designating the starting point and the destination point and on the basis of the own- vehicle-position information and a screen display control part 13 which stops the guide display of the advance rouge, according to the request of a user and which performs the guide display, when it is detected from the own-vehicle- position information and the route information that a position to be retrieved has been reached.</p> |
