PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element, and its manufacturing method, which can easily form any luminescent pattern, and can aim at improvement of production efficiency and reduction of manufacturing cost by easily forming layers with uniform thickness. SOLUTION: An organic luminescent layer 4 is formed by silk screening method interposing between a positive electrode layer 3 and a negative electrode layer 5. The organic luminescent layer 4 is a coated film heated and dried of either an organic luminescent paint evenly dissolving in an organic solvent a mixture of an electron transport material, a hole transport material, a host polymer, and fluorescent dye. Further, a screen plate of the width of 20μm or less integrally formed with metal as a whole having a mesh hole part is used in the silk screening method.
