PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera device that can sufficiently monitor the operation of an object. SOLUTION: The monitoring camera device is provided with an image forming means, a photographing field angle division means that is placed in front of the image forming means and forms photographing areas, and an image data generation processing means that generates image data of the object on the basis of an output of the image forming means attended with formation of the image of the object. The photographing field angle division means is placed so that the upper end of the photographing field angle division means is lower than an optical axis of the image forming means. The photographing field angle division means divides the field angle of the image forming means into an upper side part and a lower side part to form a photographing area to photograph a face of the object at the upper side part and a photographing area to photograph hands of the object at the lower side part. Since the photographing area to photograph the face can sufficiently widely be formed, even when the object slouches in front of an automatic cash dispenser, the face of the object is not deviated from the photographing area.
