PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized optical transmitting and receiving device which reduces electric and optical crosstalk. SOLUTION: The optical transmitting and receiving device 1 is provided with a first under clad layer 10, a first upper clad layer 20, a shield layer 30, an optical filter layer 40, a second upper clad layer 50 and a second under clad layer 60. An optical filter 12 which reflects only light of wavelength λ2 is formed in mid-way of an optical waveguide 11. Also, a slope 62 is formed at the end part of an optical waveguide 61. Light of wavelength λ1 exited from a light emitting element 3 is made incident on the optical waveguide 11 and propagates an optical fiber 2 after passing through the optical filter 12. Also, light of wavelength λ2 is made incident on the optical waveguide 11 from the optical fiber 2, propagates the optical waveguide 61 after being reflected by the optical filter 12 and the slope 61 and is made incident on a light receiving element 4. |
