PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the combustion property of a carbonization gas. SOLUTION: The carbonization treatment device comprises a heating means 21 of an electric heater that is provided on the outer-periphery surface of a carbonization chamber 20 for accommodating waste, an air chamber 23 for surrounding a carbonization gas passage 22 projecting from the carbonization chamber 20 and connecting a blower 24, an air-jetting opening 25 for surrounding a carbonization gas outlet 26, and an ignition means that is provided at the downstream side of the carbonization gas outlet 26. The carbonization gas is jetted out of the carbonization gas outlet 26 and enters a gas exhaust passage 28 due to the increase in the temperature of the carbonization chamber 20, and the carbonization gas starts burning by an ignition means 27. In this case, the carbonization gas that has been jetted out is surrounded by coaxial air that is jetted out of the air-jetting opening 25 via the air chamber 23 from the blowing means 24, thus increasing the contact area between the carbonization gas and air and hence forming carbonization premixed gas with improved mixing property between the carbonization gas and air and improving the combustion performance of the carbonization gas.
