HEAT TRANSFER MATERIAL COATING COMPOSITION AND HEAT TRANSFER RIBBON USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A heat transfer material coating composition and a heat transfer ribbon using the same are provided to facilitate the addition of additives, to improve the shelf life of the composition, and to obtain excellent workability and productivity. CONSTITUTION: The heat transfer material coating composition comprises 0 to 80 wt% of a dye or pigment, 10 to 80 wt% of a paraffin wax and 10 to 80 wt% of ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer wherein the paraffin wax and/or ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer are/is dissolved or dispersed in a nonpolar organic solvent, and further comprises 0.1 to 5.0 wt% of a leveling enhancer. The heat transfer ribbon comprises a film substrate on which the heat transfer material coating layer formed from the composition as defined above is applied.
