<p>An airbag arrangement comprises an inflatable element (7) having one edge thereof secured to part of the roof (2) of a vehicle by at least one anchoring point (4), the inflatable element (7) being adapted, on inflation to be located between an occupant of the vehicle and the side of the vehicle. The inflatable element (7) is configured so that a dimension of the inflatable element (7) reduces on inflation of the inflatable element (7), the inflatable element (7) being associated with a strap (6) extending from the element through a second anchoring point (5), the strap (6) comprising a strap adjustably connected to the inflatable element (7) at two points (14 and 15) which are spaced apart when the airbag is inflated.</p> |
