AERATION AND DEAERATION DEVICE FOR THE FUEL TANK OF AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
摘要
The invention relates to an aeration and deaeration device for the fuel tank of an internal combustion engine, whereby the tank is aerated or deaerated via an adsorption filter that can be regenerated by backwashing with atmospheric air in the air intake zone and that detects the composition of the backwashing air which is then taken into consideration for the control of the combustion process. The aim of the invention is to provide a device that allows backwashing of the adsorption filter without influencing the composition of the exhaust gases. To this end, the backwash line (5) is provided with a sensor (9) that detects the substance and/or status data of the backwash air. The zone of the backwash line (5) comprising the sensor (9) can be connected to the interior of the adsorption filter (4) as a forced flow-through circulation line. A 3/2 way valve (8) is disposed in the backwash line (5) downstream of the sensor (9) and is used to connect or disconnect the closed circulation line. One output of said valve leads to the intake zone of the internal combustion engine (6) and the other output leads back to the adsorption filter (4) via a bypass line (7) that runs parallel to the backwash line (5).
