<p>A polyelectrolyte type fuel cell; wherein cells each having a pair of electrodes disposed at positions sandwiching a hydrogen ion polyelectrolyte membrane, and a supply/discharge means for supplying/discharging a fuel gas to/from one of the electrodes and supplying/discharging an oxidizer gas to/from the other electrode are laminated via conductive separators; a distributing means for distributing a cooling medium to cool the electrodes is provided; and at least one value selected from among a fuel gas supply amount, a humidifying amount for the fuel gas, an oxidizer gas supply amount, a humidifying amount for the oxidizer gas, the flow rate or temperature of the cooling medium, and the output current value of the polyelectrolyte type fuel cell is regualated so that the inlet temperature (Twin (°C)) or the outlet temperature (Twout (°C)) of the cooling medium is at least 60 °C.</p> |
