<p>The invention concerns an expanded product made of biodegradable material designed for other than food purposes, characterised in that it is obtained by extrusion cooking of a ground native plant vegetable material whereof the average particle size ranges between 1 νm and 1.5 mm and whereof the amylose/amylopectin ratio is not more than 30 %. The invention also concerns a method and an installation for continuously making such an expanded product from biodegradable material, such as for example a cushioning or isolating material.</p> |
