This invention involves the use of Mentha spicata or Mentha cardiaca (spearmint) oil as a deer repellent. The spearmint oil is mixed with an oil extender/sticker. This mixture is added to water and then sprayed onto the foliage. The result is that the deer are repelled by the odor of the herb and are kept from eating the plants which have been sprayed.
