The installation is supported on a Y-shaped stand assembled by slotting together collapsible mast supports (4) and a collapsible mast (1). The installation allows press tips to be used during boring. A combination of the collapsible mechanism and a telescopic cover (9) allow for an optimum hoist loading of the mast during rod movement.
