The electronic merchandising method uses a line or mobile telecommunications network for selection of a central call number, with selection of the required goods and/or services via a request-order mask, for entering the order in a databank together with a marking information. A subsequent connection to the central call number can be used for tracing the order, with comparison of the request-trace mask with the order via the databank, for supplying information to a temporary databank, e.g. a personal mailbox.
