A parallelepiped-shaped cigarette package having a large-area package side, namely a rear side (13), is provided, in the area of this rear side (13), with a blank (23) that serves as a print substrate. Said blank is positioned between an outer film wrapping (19) and the package (10). An upper area of the blank (23) is joined to a separable upper part of the outer wrapping, namely to a film cap (22), and is removed when the package (10) is opened.
