<p>First to third modes are prepared as reproduction modes. In the first mode, when a reproduction-limited musical composition is reproduced, the operation is suspended, the user is made to know about the fact that the musical composition is reproduction-limited, the user is asked about whether or not the user wants to reproduce the musical composition, and the reproduction or reproduction inhibition is done depending on the user's instruction. In the second mode, reproduction of all of the reproduction-limited musical compositions is inhibited. In the third mode, any reproduction-limited musical composition can be reproduced unconditionally. At step S31, the power supply is turned on. At step S32, indication to prompt the user to select one of the first to third reproduction modes is made. At step S33, the user selects one of them. The selected mode is stored in a nonvolatile memory.</p> |
