The water cleaning system cleans the exhaust gas from a vehicle, particularly one powered by a fuel cell. The system includes a device (10) to condense out the water (26) from the exhaust gas (12). The condensed water thus obtained it then taken back to the water storage tank (14) for the cleaning system.
