摘要 PURPOSE: A system for improving the heater efficiency by using an EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) cooler is provided to improve interior heating efficiency and engine warm-up efficiency by directly flowing the cooling water heated by an EGR cooler to a heater core. CONSTITUTION: A system for improving the heater efficiency by using an EGR cooler comprises a cooling water line(22) to supply the cooling water heated during engine(10) cooling to a heater core(20), an EGR cooler(30) to increase the temperature of the cooling water supplied to the heater core by using the heat obtained from the EGR gas and to refrigerate the EGR gas by removing heat from the EGR gas, an inlet line(32) to supply a portion of exhaust gas by connecting the EGR cooler with an exhaust manifold(12), an outlet line(34) to discharge a portion of the exhaust gas to an exhaust system when an EGR valve(38) is closed by connecting the EGR cooler with the rear portion of a turbo charger(14), and an EGR supply line(36) to guide the exhaust gas refrigerated by the EGR cooler to an intake manifold when the EGR valve is operated by connecting the middle portion of the outlet line with the intake manifold. The interior of a vehicle is heated by using a portion of the cooling water heated during engine cooling. Since a portion of the exhaust gas flows through the EGR cooler, the exhaust gas for interior heating and engine warm-up is secured.
