PURPOSE: A rebound stopper rubber of a shock absorber is provided to improve the traveling experience of a vehicle by effectively absorbing a shock in the full rebound via a gap formed in a protruded portion of a rubber volume part. CONSTITUTION: A flange-shaped rebound stopper(150) is fixed in the middle of a piston rod(130). A rubber(160) is placed on the rebound stopper. The rubber is found in the shape of a ring inserted with the piston rod. A protruded volume part(161) is protruded on the outer face of the rubber. Rectangular protruded portions(162) are formed on one side of the volume part. After a piston valve(131) moves downward, the piston rod and the piston valve move upward by the restorative force of a shock absorbing spring of a shock absorber. The rubber also moves upward, and is compressed between the rebound stoppers. The protruded portions of the volume part form an oil passage gap around the protruded portions while face-to-face contacting to the inner face of an interior pipe(120). Oil is drained through the gap. Therefore, the vibration and shock of a vehicle body are absorbed.
