SENSOR SEAL FOR IGNITION DISTRIBUTOR OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A sensor seal for an ignition distributor of a vehicle is provided to improve the quality and performance of an ignition distributor by completely blocking up the invasion of moisture and foreign matters. CONSTITUTION: A sensor seal(26) is interposed between a sensor body and a connector via an airtight unit. A seal body(29) having a stepped hole(28) is formed in the sensor seal. A protruded portion(30) contacting to a base housing and the connector is formed on each side of the seal body. A fixing flange having a connecting hole is formed on each side of the connector. The fixing flange is fixed with the combining surface of the base housing via a fixing member. Since the protruded portions of the seal body are firmly stuck to the combining surface of the connector and the base housing, invasion of moisture and foreign matters is prevented.
