PURPOSE: A device for driving a turntable of a microwave oven is provided to obtain power for the rotation of a turntable from a blower motor without the use of a separate turntable motor and to reduce the production cost by minimizing the use of a high-price motor. CONSTITUTION: A connecting drive shaft(38) is installed on the output shaft of a blower motor(36). A speed reduction gear(40), a belt mechanism(50), and another speed reduction gear(60) are sequentially connected to the connecting drive shaft. The power of the blower motor is reduced, and the reduced power is transmitted to a turntable(24). Since power for the rotation of the turntable is obtained from the blower motor, a high-price motor is not needed. Further, the concentrated installation of electrical devices is avoided.
